The Philodendron Gloriosum is a stunning crawler known for its large, heart-shaped leaves and velvety texture. Its rich green foliage is beautifully contrasted with bold, creamy-yellow veins, giving it a luxurious, sculptural look. Native to Colombia, this rare beauty has become a prized statement plant in urban jungles around the world.

Care:

The Gloriosum is a slow-growing crawler, not a climber. It spreads horizontally along the soil, which means it needs a long, rectangular pot to grow properly and develop larger, healthier leaves. Place it in bright, indirect light—the more light it receives, the bigger and more defined the leaves become. Allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings, as it dislikes soggy conditions. For best results, use a chunky, well-draining aroid mix made of bark, perlite or pumice, and coco coir. This plant also enjoys higher humidity and occasional misting, and as a bonus, it helps improve indoor air quality.
