The Ceropegia Woodii 'String of Hearts' is a charming trailing succulent loved for her delicate, heart-shaped leaves that gracefully hang from long, slender vines. Baby plants display silver-grey-green foliage with a beautiful pattern and green-to-purple undersides. In spring and summer, she may even produce tiny, vase-shaped purple flowers!

Native to Zimbabwe and South Africa, this adventurous little plant originally trailed from rocks. Luckily, she is quite undemanding and quickly adapts to life in your living room.

The String of Hearts thrives when placed on a high shelf or in a hanging basket, giving her enough space to trail freely. With ample room, her vines can grow over 3 meters long!

Care:

The String of Hearts is easygoing. She enjoys plenty of direct or indirect sunlight but can tolerate some shade. Lower light will make her leaves paler, so move her to a brighter spot if the foliage starts fading.

Being succulent-like, she prefers sparing water. Avoid overwatering, as wet soil can cause root rot. A light splash of water once a week is usually sufficient. To encourage healthy growth, allow her vines to rest on the soil, which also helps propagation. As she matures, her strands will elegantly cascade downward.
