What Is an Alocasia?

Alocasia plants are tropical foliage plants known for dramatic, arrow-shaped leaves. Popular varieties include:

  • Alocasia Polly

  • Alocasia Zebrina

They are more sensitive than Monstera and require consistent care.

Light Requirements

Alocasia prefer bright indirect light.

Avoid:

Ideal placement:

  • Well-lit indoor rooms

Watering

Alocasia like slightly moist soil — not wet.
