One of the most striking members of the Philodendron family is the stunning Philodendron Billietiae! Her appearance is truly eye-catching thanks to her enormous arrow-shaped leaves. As she matures, her foliage can grow up to an impressive 75 cm long! She resembles her relative, the Philodendron Atabapoense, but with some key differences: the Billietiae has vibrant orange stems and green undersides on her leaves instead of red. This combination of features makes her a standout in any plant collection.

Care:

The Philodendron Billietiae thrives in bright, indirect light but should be protected from harsh direct sun, which can scorch her leaves. Keep her soil slightly moist, allowing the top layer to dry out between waterings to avoid root rot. A chunky, well-draining aroid soil mix rich in bark, perlite, and other organic materials will keep her happy. She enjoys higher humidity, around 50% or more, but can adapt to typical indoor conditions. Providing a climbing pole or support will help her grow upright and showcase her long, elegant leaves.
