The braided Pachira Aquatica is a stunning eye-catcher with its beautifully intertwined trunk and lush green foliage. Although native to Latin America, she’s most celebrated in Asia, where her five-pointed leaves are considered symbolic in feng shui. Known for her quick growth, she makes a wonderful statement as a larger houseplant. In the wild, she can even reach an impressive 25 metres—practically a tree! Care:

The Pachira Aquatica is delightfully low-maintenance. She thrives in (partial) shade and only needs watering once the soil has dried slightly. Instead of weekly watering, give her a thorough soak about every three weeks. She’s truly a plant that asks for very little while giving a lot in return!
